Green Eggs in Ham Book Reading

Classic Dr. Seuss

I think that this is one of the most fun stories to read. This and Oh, The Places You'll Go are of the tongue twisting rhyme types that leave you smiling at the end of the reading.

Enjoy,

Kai The Opihi Gets The Point-Book Reading

Kai The Opihi Gets The Point
Written By Gail Omoto, Jan and Judy Dill
Illustrated by Garrett Omoto

 So, in this book reading I took some creative liberties and changed all the "He's" to "She's" since the character has the same name as my daughter.  This is a Hawaiian story about native hawaiian sea creatures common to the area.  This is one of my favorite books for the kids.  BTW, Thanks Aunty Leigh and Cousins Napua and Kaha for gifting it to us.

Enjoy!

Come Back, Jack! Book reading

This is a reading of Come Back, Jack!  written by Catherine and Lawrence Anholt.

There is stumbling, especially in the Title and a few shouts from the children.  My littlest is sort of "ruff, ruff" barking at the beginning.  There are 4 classic poems that are referred to throughout the book.  Enjoy!

Jack Be Nimble.
Jack Be Quick.
Jack Jump Over
The Candle Stick!

Jack and Jill went up the Hill
to fetch a pail of water;
Jack fell down and broke his crown,
And Jill came tumbling after.

This is the farmer sowing his corn
that kept the cock that crowed in the morn
that waked the priest all shaven and shorn
that married the man all tattered and torn
that kissed the maiden all forlorn
that milked the cow with the crumpled horn
that tossed the dog that worried the cat
that killed the rat that ate the malt
that lay in the house that Jack built

Little Jack Horner
Sat in the corner,
Eating a Christmas pie;
He stuck in his thumb,
And plulled out a plum,
And said, "What a good boy am I!"

Book Reading of Velveteen Rabbit

There are a few stumbles and a couple of small shout outs from my children, but for the most part you should enjoy the entire book.  approximately 20 minutes.
